At Shire Joinery I cover all aspects of joinery, paying close attention to detail throughout the project, no matter how big or small it may be.
I am fully qualified with over 10 years of experience within the construction industry.
I first got into joinery when my dad had me helping him with some DIY around the house when I was around 12 years old. That stuck with me and when I left school, I went to work for him, helping out with his landscape company, it was the joinery that I enjoyed the most; pergolas, decking and fencing etc.
That’s when I applied for a Carpentry and Joinery course at college and managed to get myself an apprenticeship.
The first year of my apprenticeship was very important and moulded me into the joiner I am today; very conscientious in my work, paying close attention to every detail.
From then I have gained experience in both domestic and commercial maintenance and refurbishment working for various companies.
I’ve worked hard to learn my trade and my goal has always been to own my own business and that's where Shire Joinery started.
Here are the faces behind Shire Joinery
Myself (Billy), my fiancée Jade and our son Alistair.
